so much to do...so little time!

I realize that pretty much everyone feels this way at one time or another, but it's really hitting me hard today! This morning I was thrilled to have time at home to get stuff done. I thought I would feel productive and relaxed, I don't. I have checked a lot off my list, but I am overwhelmed by the realization that I have a lot more to put on the list! I need to make a birthday cake, I need to get birthday plates/cups/balloons..., I need to fold and put away 4 loads of laundry, I need to do at least 2 full loads of dishes, I need to put pictures into frames, I need to find frames, I need to keep the house from getting too dirty or messy (because I don't have time to clean it!), I need...TO SLEEP! And I need to make the most of the last 9 days until school starts! Where is that live-in-nanny when I need her?

I tend to go into shut down mode when I feel like that and find myself wishing I could just crawl under a rock or get in the car and keep driving. Or stomp my foot and say "I don't want to be a responsible adult! It's NOT FAIR!"

Usually, I end up doing the latter, because the other options are not really practical and all.

I'm in denial right now about school starting and Kindermusik starting, and the laundry, and well just about everything! I could go on, but this is your blog and not mine. Sorry!

girls...i hope you both feel better tomorrow. i recommend a good nights sleep. everything seems less overwhelming when seen thru well rested eyes. at least i hope so...cause i need some fresh perspective too!

I feel the same way and Carissa is right. Once I get sleep the things I was fretting over just don't matter as much.

Although no one cleans my house while I am sleeping, so I wake up to the same mess. What is a girl to do?

My vote would be to soak up the last 9 days of summer then tackle the projects. That's my plan anyway.

Babe,
We will make it!!! I can't believe our baby is going to be in school. It doesnt seem like she should be old enough. I was thinking that just last year we were watching her funny crawl and laughing about her acting. We knew She was going to be a funny girl. Look what we have created. I love you all!! Coop keep up the good work, you will be walking before we know it. Then look out A&E!!
Love
