I was a bit frazzled as I was now the mother of 3 children, ages 4, 2, and 4 weeks.
I was excited to go somewhere fun, and even more excited that all the kids had coordinating Halloween outfits, and that Ellie actually wore hers! (without panties, of course!)
I pushed my gynormous double stroller, and then a wagon, across the uneven grounds of the pumpkin patch, so my newborn could sleep peacefully.
I took lots of pictures, but didn't stress about getting a perfect one, since I was so tired I could barely stand.
This year was different, and yet the same. This is what I love about traditions. They bring a sort of peace to my crazy life. This year...
I am still a bit frazzled as the mother of 3 children, ages 5, 3, and 1.
I was excited to go somewhere fun, and even more excited that all the kids had coordinating Halloween outfits! Annnd, Ellie is SO much better about her clothing "issues" (look, jeans!), even wearing panties without a fuss.
I pushed an umbrella stroller into the pumpkin patch, but once inside I was able to let little Austin out to run and explore!
I took lots of pictures, but didn't worry about getting a perfect one, since I have lowered my expectations of picture taking with 3 kids!
I wonder what will be different, and the same, next year...

aw looks like fun!!!
Things really change in a year! I was at my all time highest stress level this year taking pictures. ARRGGG! I hate that about myself. Why can't I just let it go?
I didn't notice that Ellie was in jeans! WOW!
I'm always amazed how much they change from one pumpkin patch to another. A year makes such a big difference at this age. We may not have captured the perfect picture, but we captured some memories for sure ;-)
SOOOOO CUTE!!!!
