Another year, another music program! Ah, but this one was extra special, because our Ellie girl had a speaking part! She did a fabulous job, nailed her lines like a pro, and we are so proud of her!

Music To My Ears

The girls both wanted to participate in a "choir camp" the highschool offered this year. They really enjoyed it and both say they want to do it next year. Which, of course, is music to this former choir girls ears!

10!

My first baby is 10. Wow. The last couple of months have been really, really good for Ellie, and I am truly excited to see what this year holds for our girl!


We had a fun family evening to celebrate her birthday. Surrounded by her grandparents, she was a happy girl.

Snow!

We finally got a decent snow to play in! It's been a blessedly mild winter. Blessed because the last two winters have been extremely cold and snowy. We needed this. But even I was hoping for one good snow for the kids to play in! This was perfect. Beautiful and short lived! :-)













The timing was pretty perfect, giving us two snow days, (our only ones this year) with one on Ellie's birthday! We spent the first day playing in the snow, and the second, Ellie's birthday and Valentine's day, hanging out with family! We got to eat lunch with Grammie, G-ma, Aunt Denise and Uncle Dean at Lola's! What a fun, unexpected treat! And then back to school the next day, Perfect!  :)

Celebrating Ellie!

We had a super fun day celebrating Ellie's 10th birthday with her friends! Love these silly girls!


We started with a fun project, making flower hair clips! All the girls loved this!


Presents and cake! Ellie loved pulling the string on her gift from Elaina and Olivia and watching the money keep coming! She also loved her giant card Breann made her!


Then we headed up to the Discovery Center for some fun!


And ended the day with some indoor swimming at the OC, and dinner at Mexican Villa!


It was a great day!

Happy Half!

Annie's birthday has always fallen before the first day of school, which means no bday celebration at school for her. So this year we celebrated her happy half birthday! Fun times!
